Join Physio Smart in Training for the City-to-Bay Fun Run

Physio Smart will be running a team event this year to keep you motivated and get you over the line no matter what level you are; walk, jog or run.

This group training is for all ages so grab a friend or family member and join us. If you’ve ever wanted to train with an Olympian, Now is your chance!

What’s included

  • 4 x training sessions, with the Physio Smart team. ¬†Sessions will include¬†warm-up, stretches, running training and cool down for ALL levels.
  • Weekly Tips and Education from Jess Trengove (Olympic Marathon runner and past City-Bay Winner) to help with preparing for the run.
  • 1-on-1 Assessment with one of our physiotherapists* to check out your movements and joints and discuss any niggles you may have. ($95 value)
  • FREE Theraband for stretching ($12 value)
  • Healthy Snacks to fuel your workout
  • Access to the Physio Smart Community Facebook group for motivation and tip-sharing

* Private Health Cover is required to receive a complimentary assessment. If you don’t have health cover, you are not obliged to have the assessment, but should you be interested, we offer this at a reduced fee of $25 per person.

Training Details

The City to Bay is a 12km fun-run and this year is being held on the 17th of September 2017 – For more info, head over to the City-Bay Website.

Our weekly running group sessions will be during August and September on Thursday or Wednesday nights at 6:00pm –
7:00pm

All training sessions will be held around the Payneham or CBD area. Specific details of each session will be communicated in advance through email, sms and facebook.

Schedule and Location

  • Thursday 24th of August – 6pm – 7pm
  • Wednesday 30th of August – 6pm – 7pm
  • Thursday 7th of September – 6pm – 7pm
  • Wednesday 13th of September – 6pm – 7pm

Why are we holding these sessions?

It is simple really, for 3 of our team members it will be their first ever City to Bay run. We also know (and Jess is always reminding us) how important good preparation is to achieving your goals, enjoying your running and avoiding injury. We also prefer to train with others and want to give everyone the chance to join us and have a great time getting ready for the big event! That sounds great, sign me up!

Don’t think you can make it?
